Standing, sitting, and crawling

So this past week Harrison started putting himself into the sitting position-we would put him on his stomach on the middle of the floor and turn around and he would be sitting up:) Oh and this one Craig got to see first, but I'm ok with this since we have seen all of his other firsts together. He is also doing more than just army crawling and starting to crawl really short distances on hands and knees then he realizes that he would get there faster by army crawling-hehe. He is also going up to anything and pulling himself up to stand-let's say that Craig and I have our hands full right now and have baby proofed almost everything-Hopefully I will have videos up of all of this soon-gotta be fast enough to catch all of his speedy moves. We love seeing him change every day-We LOVE being Harrison's parents!!! 7 months has gone by so fast...time flies when you are having fun:)

Which sock?

Yummy!!!
Oh there are more socks!!! He loves our laundry baskets!!!
Craig was folding our whites and Harrison had to taste every sock he saw-He is still alive so the bleach must work well on Craig's socks:)

Born a Wildcat

Someone got a little upset with K-state's defense-hehe-but you can see his two teeth

Saturday was filled with family fun and football. Harrison got to spend the afternoon with his daddy and cheering for all of their teams. Many years of sports to come and lots of boy time:)

Wonderful day in the neighborhood...

1, 2, 3!!!! Harrison seemed to enjoy the slide, however his shoes kept getting caught and made him stop.
He was half asleep by the time we got to the park at the end of our neighborhood so he was very subdued the entire time.
Peeking out of the tunnel...
Mom I see you:)
First time in a swing-too bad the sun was in his eyes

Go Dad Go:)
I see mom...
I'm going to get you...
Oh darnit Dad got me-hehe-oh and Dad dressed me for the occasion JEEP, Greenbay, Gorilla hat, and hiking shoes

Non Stop Day

It was fun having a girl around.

Checking each other out.

Today Harrison and I got to spend time with and finally meet his future girlfriend Emilie! Emilie is about 4 wks older than Harrison and boy did they keep me on my toes:) Naps were few, but laughs and smiles were abundant!! It was neat to see what we have to look forward to in the coming weeks of Harrison's development. We had a great time, however I learned that twins are not for me:)

Pumpkin Patch

What is this thing?
Where's Harrison?
Dad I want this one:) You can carry it to the car, right?

We found the perfect pumpkin for Harrison-It was called cutie pie
Craig found his pumpkin right away, but I took forever to pick one:)
Grandma DuBois had a blast with all of us-especially telling Harrison about all of the farm animals.
Can't wait to go again next year:)

KC Airport

On Saturday, we suprised Grandpa DuBois at the KC airport when he arrived back from business trip in Cali. Harrison got his first chance to people watch at an airport-let's just say his eyes were wide open the entire time. His grandpa was so happy to see him and get a big hug-Harrison was ready to give him hugs:)

Our new friend Allie!!

We spent some time with the Grandparents in Wichita and Aunt Brie on Tuesday night. Harrison loved all of the attention.

On Wednesday Harrison and I went to Wichita to spend time with my good friend Alicia and her new little girl, Allie. We had a blast spending the morning with them and meeting their beautiful girl:) We are excited for all of the family time we will have together in the years to come.

6 month Stats

Weight...17 lbs 12 oz 55th percentile
Height...28 3/8 inches 100th percentile
Head Circumference...18 80th percentile

We have one long skinny boy on our hands...We told Harrison to slow down a bit on the height so we can get some more use out of his infant car seat (only goes to 30 inches and 30 lbs).
Harrison's pediatrician was once again pleased with Harrison's development-which makes us feel like we might be doing something right:) She said he is displaying skills of a 9 month old ...Craig was walking at 9 month olds so we were somewhat prepared for an active baby. This months sheet said he should begin to show interest in moving around i.e. rolling, scooting, crawling-We think that is funny since he has been really active for a while. So we can start doing 2 meals a day of rice cereal and fruits and or veg along with he regular meals of milk. She also heard a heart murmor but said will check again at his next appt. So another round of shots done and we have a healthy boy!!!

Play date with Ali and Josiah

Harrison sitting you so well!!!
They were both so interested in Harrison's Jeep shoes
Going for a ride in Josiah's double stroller-Harrison loved it

It got a little chilly on our walk so we had to bundle the boys up

Our boys are getting so big..
Josiah noticed Harrison...
Hey buddy...
uh oh we fell down
Josiah showing off his falling backwards moves
We had a great time today with our friends Ali and Josiah..we played for a bit and then went on a walk. It is so neat to see what new things the boys are doing. They are actually interacting more than they used to. Cant wait for Josiah's baby brother to arrive in 5 wks!!! I think the boys will be great friends!
