Weekend in Wichita

Mommy and Harrison exploring G and G V. backyard. Doing better with the grass.
Harrison and Grandma V. looking out the window.
Lyndsay, Alicia, and myself with our babies:) We had a great time catching up.
G and G V taking Harrison on his first wagon ride. We had beautiful weather.
Harrison loves to swing....but we knew that already...he is our little monkey.
Meeting Ruby for the first time.
Driving Ruby for the first time....many years of off roading fun to come...but the driveway is a start.
Harrison and Grandpa D...Had the best picture of the two of them, but when I put it on the computer it was blurry:( Sorry no pics of Aunt Brie this time-hope you are feeling better.
We would have more pics of family, however I am so bad about charging our camera and it died, thank you G and G Vaught for your copies of the weekend. Love you and miss all of you.

Cora Paige

I have shared with many you the journey that Joel and Jess (we lived in the same dorm at K-State) have recently gone through with their 11 month old daughter Cora who recently lost her battle with cancer. http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/ I have been thinking about how I could write this post, but I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through-Harrison and Cora were so close in age. All I know is that in her 11 months of life she has touched more people than I could even hope to reach in my entire life-you can see this in the comments left on their blog and those are just from the people who left messages. We do not always understand why this happens, but our God is all knowing and he has a purpose for each of our lives. Cora is now safe in his arms playing in heaven and free from pain. Please continue to keep Joel and Jess in your prayers.
Also, they are going to build a playground at their church called Cora's playground http://corapaige.blogspot.com/
I found these beautiful flower pins that a woman is making in her name and all of the proceeds go towards Cora's playground. http://www.joyshope.com/2009/02/for-cora.html

6-7 PM

6-7 pm is our family time...everything is dropped and Harrison gets our full attention. We usually go to his room, turn on one of his cds, and just play.

I love my boys...this is my favorite time of the day by far!!!!

Super Bowl Party!!!

Aunt Nicole and Hudson being silly.
Grandpa and Hudson watching the game.
Trying to get a family picture...Someone wasn't being cooperative.
Harrison thinks grandpa is hilarious:)

He loves to cuddle with his mommy.

We had a family super bowl party. The guys watched the game, while the girls watched the babies and talked. Gonna be honest did not watch one minute of the game...too busy trying to prepare Harrison for his first day of daycare with Miss Dana!!! By the way he had a blast and was ready to go to bed at 6pm. Hopefully Friday goes just as well.

Happy Birthday mommy!!

Trying to get one good pic at dinner...
again...
Harrison was too busy flirting with the ladies in the table next to us. We finally had wonderful service while eating out and enjoyed my b-day dinner.
He is so talented he can write mommy:)

I had a great 27th Birthday...I know 27 so scarey...I came home and Harrison and Craig decorated the wall for me and made me brownies!!!

Pointing to the animals

So we always point to different things in Harrison's books to help him associate what picture goes with the word we are saying...today he started pointing with one finger to the animals in his book. Watch closely:)

An apple a day

So can you tell Harrison likes apples just like his mommy. Sorry it is so long, but I am unable to edit videos off of my digital camera. Yep it is gross he is eating off of the parts I already took a bite out of...We are getting to the point where he wants everything we are eating-thank goodness though for finger foods so we can have a peaceful dinner again.
